The East West project includes development of residential compounds including life-support and recreational facilities at six sites along the 1,200 km long East-West pipeline. These compounds will house over 1,700 Saudi Aramco employees and are being developed under the Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) framework by a consortium of Lamar Holding, Asyad Holding and Wisayah Investment Company.
By a consortium of Lamar Investment Holding Company Limited, Mowah Company, and Al Bawani Capital, the Jafurah project includes development, design, financing, construction, commissioning, testing, ownership, insurance, operation, maintenance and transfer of 1.) a greenfield seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, 2.) the water transmission and 3.) other relevant facilities and auxiliary equipment for the receipt of electricity from Saudi Aramco.
